Testing for Yellow belts...
Last weeks Kyle and Alex were able to test for their first new belt since starting Karate in September. They practiced their combinations, katas and basic moves and we memorized the first 9 student rules (Thanks, Tracy, for the suggestion to associate the rule number with something they could remember "two - shoe"). The testing went really well and, of course, I captured it all on my camera for posterity's sake. Enjoy my newly discovered digital toy - Smilebox.

PS - so glad to hear Kyle is feeling better. YIKES! Things always go awry when the hubbies out of town over here too.
